New Website

As you may have noticed, Awesomeness.TK has been updated with a new look and has switched away from WordPress!

While this site has been sitting untouched (but up to date) for years, it may be time that I start posting some more on here. How often remains to be seen, though.

The switch from WordPress was something that I had been debating for a while as over time. It seemed the site just became more and more sluggish, even though it is running on the best hardware it has ever run on. What pushed the decision though was a SSD failure on the main drive of my server, which is what housed a lot of configuration files and core programs (such as WordPress). Luckily, I have backups of everything, but I decided to take it as an opportunity to redo and improve my server's inter workings to be more secure and stable. As such, the laggy, exploit ridden, and highly targeted (you should see the attempted exploit logs) WordPress site is no more! I have been importing old posts onto here from the WordPress site and more should appear in the coming weeks. I have been reformatting them to look better and take advantage of the features of Ghost, which is what the website is running now.

Furthermore, I have also updated the Domain image a bit to make it better match the style here (and I think is an improvement overall)

I am still planning on bringing back https://images.awesomeness.tk so that images can be shared without compression. Currently, I am using my Nextcloud instance to share images due to me not being able to find decent software that would serve well with public access.
